Happy B-day!
Hanging out in Sissy's Room
Mommy
Look what happens when they dress themselves!

Thanks for having a birthday Grandma! :)

Hopefully your wish will come true!

Saturday we were thinking of going to the park and celebrate Joel's Mom's b-day. With the weather being cool and damp that day, we decided to have it at our house-nice and cozy!
Casey made sure to sing Grandma Happy Birthday.
Today is my big bro's b-day-Happy Birthday!!!!!!!
Well, don't even ask about March birthdays-that list goes on for a while! Also my sister is getting married in March-busy, busy month! :)

Big News! (In Our Home, Anyways!!)
This really wasn't supposed to look like some "underwear model" picture, but hey, Casey's only two and Mommy didn't notice when she was taking his picture. :)

Let me just say, that I have made a few attempts at the whole potty training thing, but after doing everything under the sun for more than 45 minutes sometimes, I get a little frustrated. Ok. I have one of the boys on the Elmo potty, and one on the "big" potty (w/ a little seat on it). I read to them, have them drink alot, have water trickling in the bathtub, give them the "chills" on their back, swap potty seats, and anything else that I could possibly do! NOTHING! C'mon, I know they have to go, but my ray of hope came this past Wednesday, Casey went number 2 in the potty. Oh my goodness, I was so excited...clapping, hugging him, gave him candy, high fives. (I know, just what you needed to know).
Just any sign that they actually had an interest in using the potty was all I needed. Now if that wasn't enough excitement for one day, Mikaila had been saving up her "starbucks" at school to eat with her principal. I received two different calls from the school that day, the first one was from the nurse at the middle school saying that Ashleigh had accidentally been hit in the face w/ the lacrosse stick from some other girl. Painful, but ast least she survived. The other call was from Mikaila's principal saying what a treat it was to have lunch with her and how polite and well behaved she was. Wow, those are definately words you like hearing-especially from the principal. Woo hoo!
Lastly, Ashleigh went rock climbing with the Jr. High group at church this past Wednesday and the funny thing was, Quinn's friend from school asked if Quinn would like to go rock climbing-it ended up it was at the same place and they saw each other there. Quinn's first time, and he seemed to have alot of fun. :)

Our Past Week
Ashleigh's New Bedding. Mikaila on her field trip.

Pioneer Village

Let me just say as chaotic as being a mom gets sometimes, I wouldn't trade it for the world! I say that because I think about all the little things that go on in a typical day. "Mom, can you sign my paper?" Mom, can you sign mine too?" "Mom can I have whoever spend the night? "Mom what's for dinner?""Mom we need more lunch money!" "Mom can you help me with my homework?" Sometimes I need to remind the kids that they have a Daddy to ask too! I think about what it will be like down the road when there won't be so many "Moms" and it makes me appreciate the business of my day-I love it, and love the fact that they still need me, it's a great "problem" to have!!!
Anyways, I got to go with Mikaila on her field trip to Pioneer Village last Wednesday. For those of you who haven't ever been there, it's a village of how life was like in the late 1800's here in Az. Alot of the buildings are actually the original building & was just relocated to this area and some of them are replicas. I love seeing glimpses of the past and how things were, so it was the perfect field trip for me to go on. (I'm grateful that the twins were able to be watched my their grandparents:) A little girl in our group asked me if I was a teenager?!! The poor thing prob. needs glasses, but thank you just the same!! I guess it evens out though, because someone at my sister's 40th birthday party wondered who was older between the two of us-Oh great!!
I think I better start looking for a plastic surgeon real quick here!
Today, we had so much fun at the boys Gymboree class. Like I said, last week got canceled, so this was actually our first week going and especially Case, was having a blast and his little face really lit up with the songs and different instruments! Fun, Fun!
